How to find the profitable products to sell on eBay via market reserach


Before you start successfully selling products on eBay, you have to perform a key step that is “market analysis" (market research). This step is an intelligent method to find out profitable products to sell on eBay. Many sellers cannot perform market research as it can take much time. Skipping this step may result in stuck with lots of products without buyers. It can be detrimental to your business in the long run.Doing the market analysis to find things to sell on eBay depends on researching three aspects include the item itself, the audience, and the competition. Here are four major steps for conducting research on eBay as follows:
1 – Brainstorming.
This is a process to generate and come up with creative ideas of the items that you want to list on eBay. Perhaps you don’t know where to start, but niche items are the best things that sell on eBay. Niche items are good products with features that attract a particular market subgroup; this part is a highly targeted audience. You can start off by selling niche products to a few clients and later widen your product range.
2 – Search for the items that have enough demand on eBay.
Look for the products in the past auction history instead of in the active auctions. This way enables you to get some ideas of excellent things that sell on eBay. Just click on the ‘Advanced’ link beside the search bar of the website. Key in the item name, tick the checkbox for ‘Completed listings’ under the ‘Search including’ section and click the ‘Search’ button. 
3- Analyze the results.
After the results of are shown, scroll through the first pages and note the numbers of products sold. If the products were sold, their prices will be displayed in green instead of red for the unsold products.If the items were sold at least 60% of the time, this means they are profitable eBay products. 
4 – Start over.
When you find the right profitable products to sell, try to concentrate on finding a supplier. Or repeat the search for another product idea until you discover the right products.
